School Club In order to help bridge that gap between the beginning and end of school and the time when it is convenient for parents to drop off and collect children, we have developed a “School Club”. Children up to 8 years old can enjoy a socially interactive environment with access to structured and informal activities. They have their own allocated room, with easy access to the extensive outdoor facilities. Regular themed events are also arranged for after school, which provide additional stimulation. The children have a supervised escort to and from school. Health Visitor A qualified Health Visitor attends the nursery every 6-8 weeks, you just need to bring along your child’s development book and we will do the rest. A routine assessment on all of the babies and children is organised throughout the visit, each child’s weight and height will be checked along with other aspects associated with general development. Advice will be offered to parent’s in the usual way. However, we would like to stress that parents don’t need to be present, as the nursery staff can act “in loco parentis”.

Child Essentials For those items that run out at the most inconvenient of times you can purchase nappies, wipes, teething gels and nappy creams from nursery. Parent Concierge Drop off your ironing, dry cleaning and post amongst other things and we will take care of it for you. Don’t worry that we are doing this instead of looking after your children, all the services are ran by a third party, we just make it easy for you to access them. Emergency Service When childcare plans fall through, don’t despair. Handkerchief Day Nursery keeps a small number of places open to be used as emergency, same day cover.
